In April it was reported that the Pegulas, owners of the Bills' since 2014, were looking into a potential 25% stake sale of the club. The announcement came just months after reports that Buffalo's new stadium was $300 million over-budget, with experts saying its likely to increase with construction ongoing. Although the 25% stake is not set in stone, bringing in a limited partner would help relieve some of the pressure on the Pegulas.
