I see our district to be a vibrant organization of fifty clubs serving more than 2500 Rotarians across south Alabama. Clubs that are vibrant and making a difference in their communities through service projects and member engagement; members who participate in both club and community projects that will identify the local Rotary Club as “People of Action”; engaged in the fight to eradicate Polio.

{Dothan, AL., June 29, 2019} Members of the Rotaract Club of Troy University’s Dothan campus, which is sponsored by the Dothan Tuesday Rotary Club, played a major role in collecting $44,000 at the Fireworks @ the Fairground event to benefit the Wiregrass United Way. Club members Madison Kimbro, Heather Tindell, Chelsea Johnston, and Lori Lewis gave up a portion of their weekend to volunteer in this very worthy
fundraising event.

My dear friends, Rotary leaders, and Rotaract leaders:

A new Rotary year is upon us, and let us say one final thank you to former President Barry Rassin for his outstanding leadership. Barry, we will miss you, but we know and appreciate that you will continue to lead Rotary in important ways for years to come.

Just a short note of thanks for allowing me to serve as your District Governor this year. Together, we have had a Revolutionary Year in many ways.
